教授、博士生导师,基金委创新群体、杰青和科技部重点研发计划项目负责人,入选”国家级人才项目“。主要从事无菌性炎症中的免疫识别和疾病机制研究,取得了多项研究成果:1)鉴定MC5R、GPR34等新的危险信号感应受体,并揭示其在肿瘤免疫抑制、组织损伤修复等疾病中的作用机制并提供了新的干预靶点;2)率先发现危险信号感应受体NLRP3对2型糖尿病、帕金森等慢性复杂疾病中无菌性炎症发生和疾病进展的关键驱动作用,并揭示NLRP3炎症小体活化的关键机制;3)基于无菌性炎症新靶点和新理论,发展一批靶向危险信号感应受体的候选药物。以通讯作者在 Science、Cell、Nat Rev Immunol(X2)、Nat Immunol(X4)、Immunity(X3)、Nat Cell Biol(X2)等杂志发表论文20余篇,他19000余次,入选全球高被引学者(2021-2023)。获国家自然科学二等奖(第一完成人)、全国创新争先奖、谈家桢生命科学创新奖、中国优秀青年科技人才奖中国青年科技奖等奖项。担任Cellular & Molecular Immunology常务副主编,任中国免疫学会常务理事、安徽省免疫学会副理事长等。

2)无菌性炎症中的神经和代谢调控机制;
3)靶向无菌性炎症和危险信号感应受体的的药物发现。
